I have been wanting to start an art journal for some time.  I've been collecting papers and paints and markers and all sorts of supplies. Here is my first page!

This is a fabric collaged, mixed media art quilt. It is made with fabric, paper and fibers

I have not made a wire wrapped doll in a long time.  I really do enjoy making this type of doll.  She's  got just a little "steampunk" going on!

I just finished an online class with Christy Thomlinson. OMG! It was fantastic.  She is an amazing teacher and so willing to share her knowledge.  I really learned a lot.  $$ well spent.  I am taking her next class, which starts tomorrow!....I have seven granddaughters and  I know what they are getting for Christmas!.....Here's what I did in the class!

Prayer Flags

I used stencils from the Crafters Workshop, Shiva paintsticks and some of my own stencils to make these colorful prayer flags. I hung them on a branch I found in the woods.
