Valintine Art Journal pages

Well, since Valintines Day is this week, I thought I would make a page in my journal with hearts on it.  I got a Gelli Arts plate this week and spent all day palying with it yesterday.  I took Julie Fei-Fan Balzer's online class to learn how to use it.  A great deal for $15. Check out her blog.  I used some of the deli papers and waste papers that I made for these pages.  The hearts were acutally, the freezer paper that I mixed my paints on.  I did two pages...because, it took me forever to do the one with the hearts.  I just kept adding color.  I really struggled with it.  It's pretty dark, but, it is what it is.   The o second page was much easier.  I seemed to be more inspired when I have a face to work with. he body is a heart shaped zentangle I did a long time ago.
