Flowers in my hair

Wow! It's been over two weeks since I've posted!  Life does get in the way. This is just a simple collage done on a gelli print background.  I cut out  a face from a magazine and painted over it and added some collage elements and printed words.  Easy journal page....The little lady circled in white is my mom...many years ago.

    Lovely collage - lots of nice textures. I like the idea of painting over a magazine picture. Never thought of doing that...

    wonderful collage! There is something about the lady's skin tone that anchors the whole piece. Really nice!

    Sorry for being late; besides everyday living, routine errands and appointments, Spring has a way of keeping one busy outdoors.
    Your collage page is lovely . I like the idea of painting over a magazine face or image, yours turned out beautiful. The layers, colours and composition are perfectly balanced . Nice work.
