 In the 2014 Winter issue of Pages, there is a great article by Jane Davenport about drawing hair! Here is my drawing.

Mixed media, A day to remember

I was playing with some spray inks in my journal and put down more than I intended.  I took a piece of water color paper and put it on top and absorbed some of the ink.   I liked how it looked so I drew a face on it. I colored her hair and the remaining background with distress inks and added some collage.  Here is the beginning and finished piece.

I've been working on....but, as I looked at her , I decided she
