Jill Maas doll

I recently purchased a new pattern by Jill Maas. Her name is Snowdrop and she is holding her friend Frosty. Her face is sculpted and colored with paint and pens and she is wired so she stands on her own.

I have admired Alma Stoller's work for a long time. She shared her technique for this piece in the Cloth Paper Scissors magazine some time ago. I was looking through some back issues and came across it....had to give it a try!
