Work in Progress...done!

So, I'm done1 Took me a little longer than I thought, but, I finished it today!. Life got in the way this week! I colored in more of the zentangles with the Faber Castell big brush markers, deepen the shadows on her face and colored the background teal. I decided I did not like the background, at all,so, I cut it out and put her on a black background. I think it's much better!

What do you think?

That black background makes a huge difference - go figure! The heart is a great addition too - you are so good at tangling!!

both images are beautiful,a bit melancholic and each has a different effect. The black anchors the image and the other is more floating.

I think, you were right to cut it out. A quiet background is better. Very nice!

There is real sadness and pathos here - but at the same time - beauty and grace.
